Dr. Huynh received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and cell biology at the University of California, San Diego and her medical doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She then completed a general surgery residency at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. During this time she completed a NRSA T32 postdoctoral research fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a two year research fellowship at Harvard University with Dr. Frank LoGerfo studying the mechanisms of prosthetic graft failure. She is currently a vascular surgery clinical fellow at the University of California, San Francisco.
