Dr. Ceazon Edwards received a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelors of Arts in Japanese language and culture in 2009 at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. During that time frame she was worked in the research laboratories of both Dr. Kenneth P. Nephew and Richard D. DiMarchi, performing bench work for new platin-based chemotherapy drugs for treatment of ovarian cancer in addition to using solid-phase peptide synthesis involving to manipulate glucagon analogs and its affect on cell receptor binding. 

After completing her undergraduate degrees and research, Dr. Edwards decided to continue her post-graduate education at Indiana University to complete her medical school training in 2013. In 2019, she then completed 6 years of general surgery residency training at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. She recently moved to San Francisco for her fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Fellow at the University of California-San Francisco.
