    Biography

    Joy Walker, M.D. is a clinical fellow in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. A Texas native, she attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern and completed her her general surgery residency at UCSF in June 2016. During her two years as a research fellow in the Division of Vascular Surgery,  she investigated predictors of AV fistula maturation and the consequences of vascular inflammation.
